Great view and location and decently priced
We recently spent a weekend in the French countryside and stayed at a budget hotel with an amazing view of a castle up on a hill. The location was perfect for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and although a bit old-fashioned, had all necessary amenities. The price was also very reasonable, making it an excellent budget option for a city break.
We did have a few issues during our stay. The hotel had a serious problem with wasps and flies, making breakfast pretty unpleasant.

One negative aspect is that the hotel entrance can be a bit tricky to find, especially at night.
